Bacchanalia Wines

The shiraz variety from the PT23 and PT10 clones have produced wines of distinction from the very first vintage made by Stuart Anderson in 1998.

Bacchanalia Shiraz is a lighter more elegant style of wine after the French Northern Rhone tradition.  It is traditionally rich with raspberry and plummy  overtones, spicy, with dusty, savoury characters.

Mocha, clearly evident on the nose, flows through to the palate.  Since 2005 the Bacchanalia Shiraz experience has been blessed with the addition of about  5% Viognier with subsequent elevation in nose and palate characters.
